Name: Kouken Fushidara
Appearance: Kouken is 5' 10" with short dark hair and a medium build. He has gray eyes and a light tan. He usually wears tight fitting shirts and loose pants. He has tribal tattoos going down his left arm and many scars from his battles.
Weapons: Nanimukamo: It's name translates to anything and everything. It is a morphing weapon that can be any one weapon at a time. It can't make complicated things like guns but it can make a bow that doesn't have any arrows. When not in a weapon form it is like a second metal skin on Kouken.
His second weapon is a plain short sword that has a good hand guard and a 56cm blade.

*LadyScribe flashes her fangs and roars a challenge* So this is a serious duel, I see.

{{That just a random quite I put there by the way}}
Kouken was in the middle of practicing with his short sword when he heard footsteps come from behind him. He let out a laugh as he heard the woman's comment. He turned around as he spoke so he could see who's head he would have shortly. "It can be depending on how much your willing to put into a fight." He sheathed his short sword and started walking towards the stranger. "My name is Kouken and unless your willing to put your life on the line I suggest you leave."
He stopped about 20 feet away from the stranger and took a good look at her. She didn't look to be dressed for battle but he learned long ago to never underestimate his opponent. The two weapons that stuck out most to him were the long-bow and Scythe. This told him that she most likely preferred long-range to mid-range battle meaning that she would be best dealt with at close range.

((Yeah I did but a broadsword is also best at mid-range combat.))

*LadyScribe quirks an eyebrow, assessing her challenger* He is shorter than her, and his weapon seemed to not have protected him from scars. She smiled...that was a good indication.

Kouken unsheated his short sword and waited. They were about the same size it seemed but he had no doubt that he was the more versitale one. Even if she fired her bow at this range he could block it, then if he was lucky use it against her. "So are you just going to stand there looking at me, or are you actually going to do something?"

Kouken sighed and rubbed his temples with his free hand. This was going to be a pain. Here speed was his greatest ally. The sooner he got in close the better. He flipped his sword around switching to a reverse hold and thought through what was most likely to happen. They were close enough that he could rush and reach her before she had time to fully nock an arrow. If she realized that then she would mostly likely use one of the other two weapons. Which would be easy enough to handle. He smiled. "Alright suit yourself." With that said he rushed her keeping his body low and within just a couple seconds he was there swinging his short sword in an upward arc planning on gutting her.

He smiled. 'Perfect.' When the swords met he used the force of the blow to make his spin faster. In mid spin Nanimokamu spun shifted down his arm and made a lance over his forearm. As he came around he thrusted the lance towards her ribcage. "Let's see how long you can dance."

"Much longer than a trainee as yourself." LadyScribe said, spinning away and putting her full, formidibal strength out in the thrust she aimed straight at his heart. On purpose, she missed and snagged the tip on his shirt; the sharp point created a small, proffessional tear. "I am trying to make out your character...but I hear so many accounts as to puzzle me exceedingly." ( Lol, P&P!!! )

{{Remember let me dodge.}}
Damian laughed "Yeah I tend to do that to people, and don't mistake me for a trainee. You do and you might as well be dead right now. I'll admit your strong but your going to have to move a lot faster to touched me. Swings and thrusts I can read as easily as any newspaper." He let Nanimokamu shift back to it's original form and stood there waiting for her to make another move.

"You're right...you are no trainee. Our powers of dueling ought not to be called insignificant." LadyScribe started to slowly circle him. Her footfalls made no sound on the ground, and her eyes were fixed on him like those of a snake or a bird of prey.

Damian assumed a loose stance. He checked the hole in his shirt then sighed, the blade only nicked him but he would have to patch the shirt up afterwards. He was still in a loose stance his body mostly limp but he was ready to react to anything she had planned. "Come on princess, I haven't got all day."

"Neither have I...but we musn't be hasty. He who rushes into a battle heedlessly is inevitably the loser." She shrugged, then did a prompt and swift back-flip over his head. She landed gracefully on the other side and pushed back a few strands of hair. She turned and climbed up a tree like a spider and balanced in one of the higher branches.
