Upper level: The windowed roof The ceiling of Princeps mall is covered with glass a nuclear bomb could barely penetrate; beautiful in the sunlight, it reflects light onto the large cafe usually filled with unsuspecting humans. When the Vampires come out, metal sheets almost as thick as the glass block all the light. Small lamps that flicker regularly give the plants and chic tables a ghostly light... Middle Level: The shops Princeps mall of New York City is famed for its variety of high end, quaint, and grunge shops. Teenagers are always frequenting the place from dawn until the closing time of twelve thirty p.m. When the Vampires come out, they take the clothes and items they need-mostly want-and sometimes create mischief with grafitti. The Basement: The Vampires Lair While Princeps two upper levels are over two football fields long and almost as tall, the basment is ever vaster-over three times the size of the upper levels-and forbidden to anyone who does not wish to die a most painful death... not that the mortals know that. THe Vampires live and sleep down there where the stone walls create a huge confinement and lightbulbs flicker in cheap lamps. You wouldn't want to be stuck down here when Princeps closes.
